Paris-born, Russian-American, Catherine brings a cosmopolitan flair to her design work.   "My sense of color is in my genes," says Catherine, "and my sense of style comes from my world travels.   While I love to express a sense of elegance in every detail, I try not to take design too seriously.   Even high style has to be functional and comfortable.   I particularly like to include some whimsy or humor when it reflects the interests or personality of the person I am designing for. The interior design process can be very personal, so communication is essential - some of my best friends started out as clients."

Catherine studied interior design in Southern California and has created dozens of beautiful, livable spaces in Washington DC, Nevada and California.   Commercial projects include Anaheim Stadium and San Francisco Ballet. Newly relocated from San Francisco to Chicago, Catherine has already completed several North Shore, Western Suburb and City commissions.
